The Stanford Experiment

In 1971, The Professor Phillip Lombardo and other group of Stanford University ´s Students has developed an experiment with the goal consist the study of the influence of the extreme conditions , in the social conduct and how the roles influenced in his acts, In this experiment used the prison´s life and his roles, guards and prisoners.

They selected a group of persons, and clasified in two groups, Guards and Prisoners,The Guards had a suit ,with the things that the guards have, for example glasses, nightstick, etc.,and the prisoners have a suit  and number.

The place where the experiment had made was in the Psicology zone of the Stanford university ,the experiment long about one week, because the experiment was uncontroled and the guards experimented new types of punish against the prisoners.

The conclusions of the experiment was  that the people,  in bad conditions, could change. Even this people are considered good persons, and this situations are made worse when this receive some kind of role that they should use the order or discipline.

About this experiment ,exist a movie which it talk about this study, but the movie is a free version, and very hard than the original Stanford Experiment, whose name is DAS EXPERIMENT

It´s a good film. I recommended.
